Work package 8 - ICT Advisory Group

Aim: Organise support and advise on ICT related issues occurring in other workpackages

Apart from the development of innovative tools and initiatives, which is the object of Core Workpackage 5, most workpackages in this project do use ICT tools at one or more stages. It is the objective of this workpackage to tend to any arising problem or request for assistance related to the use of ICT in their specific activities. The workpackage team members are not necessarily handling requests themselves but may be an effective gateway to redirect queries to appropriate experts in the network.

Main Objectives:
A.    To establish an online helpdesk to channel ICT related questions from the project partners
B.    To (further) develop a practical tutor on common online tools, specifically geared to aspects related to aquatic resource
C.    Organise demonstration sessions of ‘Good Practice’ in using ICT tools at annual events.
